Stephen Weber plays insurance agent Hutchinson Rimes in this tongue-in-cheek suburban film noir whose deliciously devious plot sports more curves than the sexpot secretaries with whom Hutch conducts his serial affairs at the Sleep Easy Motel. Followed by a Q&A with director Matthew Irmas. $10 Adults/$5 Students

Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard, and Uma Thurman star in this intense film about a trio of friends who meet in a Michigan motel room and clash over lies and secrets from their high school days. A playful, witty dance tribute to America's favorite pastime, baseball. Look behind the illusions of MOMIX in a pre-curtain dialogue with Moses Pendleton, founder of this remarkable company of dancer-illusionists who use props in combination with bodies, outrageous moves, lighting, and music to transport you into a fantastical world. $5

Etoy: Burning Venture Capital - Maximizing Global Excitement
The artist who calls himself Agent Zai, spokesman and "Chief Executive" of the Zurich-based international underground artists' collective, etoy, and his orange-coated companions grapple with the cultural ins and outs of a once small but growing internet art consortium. Etoy successfully battled the corporate giant eToys for the rights to their name and now barters new media art in cyberspace providing high-interest cultural dividends. $5

Obo Addy and his ensemble will take kids on a journey through the traditional dances and the energetic rhythms of his native Ghana. Talking drums, bells, and shakers abound as African musical history comes to life. Free with museum admission. Advance reservations required.

Contemporary Art After the Culture War

A lively discussion on the future of contemporary art with former New York Times art critic Michael Brenson, Williams College Museum of Art director Linda Shearer, and former director of museums and visuals arts for the National Endowment of the Arts, Jennifer Dowley. $5 or free with museum admission

Renewal, Regret, and Rebirth in North Adams
Author Joe Manning leads a discussion on the history and resurgence of North Adams. Manning fell in love several years ago with the Berkshire town that is now home to MASS MoCA and has put his research on the people and places of this former mill town into a new book titled Disappearing Into North Adams. $5

Laurie Anderson Work-in-Progress
In a rare work-in-progress performance, MASS MoCA brings you an intimate peek at the latest back-to-basics new solo work. Deeply personal and abandoning the electronica she so willingly embraced, Laurie waxes on about contemporary culture, love songs, and techno burn-out. $7

Holiday Flashback Dance Party
DJ Bobby Morales, who spun the non-stop dance tunes at MASS MoCA's Disco Dance Party in December 2000, returns to keep you jumping to dance favorites of the 70s and 80s. $12 Adults/$6 Kids
