School's out, but there is still a lot to learn at MASS MoCA. Beat the heat this summer with Boredom Buster art classes on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9am to 11am, July 17 through August 16.

Continuing with the theme of Kidspace's Words & Images project, each Boredom Buster art class will focus on a different word. With a range of materials to visually express adjectives like gooey, windy, dreamy, and musical, "bored" is one word there will be no time to explore!

The workshops are for children ages 5 to 12 and will be held in Kidspace at MASS MoCA. Parents are welcome to join in, or drop off their children.

Word of the day: Gooey - July 17, Magical - July 19, Windy - July 24, Impressionable - July 26, Musical - July 31, Dreamy - August 2, Psychedelic - August 7, Kaleidoscopic - August 9, Shrinky - August 14, Memorable - August 16.

Boredom Buster art classes are $10 per child for member families and $12 per child for not-yet-members. Classes will include an activity and a healthy snack.
