Williams College English Professor and author Gage McWeeny will illuminate the relationships between Sol LeWitt’s wall drawings and the conceptual writing of Andy Warhol, Kenneth Goldsmith, and others. He will be joined by David Lang, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and co-founder of Bang on a Can. Lang will make similar connections between LeWitt’s approach and his own work, as well as the conceptual music of Steve Reich, Tom Johnson, and others.
