Gabriel Kahane

Saturday, July 20, 2013 8pm
Pavilion or Club B-10
$12 advance / $16 day of / $10 students

THIS IS MUSIC WITH SOMETHING TO SAY. A bright light of the expanding progressive-indie genre, Gabriel Kahane is joined by Rob Moose of Bon Iver for a set of airy pop that hints at Kahane’s classical roots. His compositions, recordings, and performances reflect a quirky, innovative musician, deeply enmeshed in New York’s downtown new-music scene.

Hear him perform the haunting Charming Disease on WNYC and Public Radio International's Studio 360.

And here, Gabriel Kahane describes preparing for his debut performance at Carnegie Hall in October, 2012.

Sponsored by the Hans and Kate Morris Fund for New Music and the Williamstown Motel. Additional support by The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA.
