Full line up and ticket information here. Remember, there are no refunds or exchanges on tickets.

There's some info about North Adams here but more to come as plans get finalized for downtown activities.

Solid Ground TENT sites are ONLY available by phone. Call 413 MoCA 111 between 11 AM and 5 PM to reserve your site.

From June 24-26th the three-day music, art, comedy, film and interactivity festival will return to MASS MoCA. Visit the Solid Sound website for more details and to buy tickets.

Solid Ground Tent Site

MASS MoCA has teamed up with the City of North Adams to provide a field within easy walking distance (a little over one half mile) from the festival and museum, downtown merchants, bars and restaurants. Although this is a basic, open field tent site, there will be a concession food service (including after hours service), porta-potties, drinking water, and pay-per use showers. A basketball court and rec field are nearby.

Rate: $80 per tent plot. $100 for RV's, for up to two nights. Only one tent is permitted per plot.

Space is limited and advance reservations are required and there are no refunds.

Reservations and payment will be handled through the MASS MoCA box office, by phone or in person only…no online sales. For reservations call 413 662 2111 between 11am and 5pm, any day except Tuesdays

The site is located on soccer and playing fields south of Joe Wolfe Baseball Field on Route 8 approximately .7 miles south of MASS MoCA (towards Adams).

Each tent plot reservation includes one 15 x 18' space, plus a nearby parking space for one (non RV) vehicle. However, the site will not be set up for car-side camping, so please pack light! For parties with more than one vehicle, extra vehicle parking will be provided in a designated remote lot, served by the Solid Sound shuttle bus.

Plots and RV parking will be allocated by the order in which your reservation is made. You will be sent reservation credentials which you must present at the check-in gateway to the tent field.

The RV slots do not have sewer or water hookups. Electrical hookup availability is tbd.

  • Check in begins Friday, June 24, at 11am.
  • Check out is by Sunday, June 26, by 3pm.
  • A maximum of 4 persons per plot, enforced.
  • For safety reasons, only registered campers displaying Solid Ground tent site wrist bands will be permitted into the grounds.
  • No open fires or fireworks. Coleman-type camp stoves permitted.
  • No glass bottles.
  • No illegal substances.
  • Quiet please: no generators from 11pm – 9am.
  • Camp site showers will be available for a reasonable "per use" fee.
  • Ice will be available for purchase.
  • A concession stand serving simple "camp fare" food will be in operation at Solid Ground: the menu and hours of operation will be sent to campers in the "check in" information package, to be distributed approximately one month prior to the concert.

Please note, there will be some on-site security, including 24 hour monitoring, but campers are strongly advised to not leave valuables in tents, and lock your cars. The City of North Adams and MASS MoCA will not be responsible for loss of valuables.

Thanks to Marianne Petit and Matthew Belanger of Greylock Arts for this great photo!
