This series of short films will include Mauro Shampoo – Soccer Player, Hairdresser and Macho highlighting the life of an ex- soccer player from Brazil who has only made one goal in his entire career, but with a lot of humor Mauro manages to turn his misfortune into triumph. Beyond Soccer (Loucos de Futebol) reveals the authentic passion of Brazilian football by proving that the most popular sport on earth is much more then just 22 men running after a ball. And director Greg Hotaling's In the Blood a documentary which captures the real-life struggles and triumphs of lower division soccer team Brentford F.C. and its dedicated community of supporters in working class England. Director Greg Hotaling will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening.

This series of shorts is presented as part of MASS MoCA's Kicking and Screening Soccer Film Festival.
