The father of one of the most beloved comic strips of all time had a reputation as a tormented and emotionally aloof recluse. This biopic of the Peanuts creator, originally screened as part of the PBS American Masters series, examines how Schulz’s psychology manifested itself in Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and the rest of the gang.

Part of Larger than Life, our Thursday doc series featuring detailed biographical investigations of creative souls whose outsize work still fuels our imaginations.
