Annual Fund gifts support the creation of new visual and performing art at MASS MoCA!
MASS MoCA has become a sought-after residency destination for artists. Since opening in 1999, more than 100 major works and installations and 80 performances have been produced through fabrication and rehearsal residencies in North Adams.
Residencies are artist-driven, structured so that artists can meet their own creative and developmental goals. Upon accepting a 2014 Grammy Award, the founder of A Roomful of Teeth said: "Our album was composed directly from work done at MASS MoCA. MASS MoCA is our laboratory, and we could not have done this album without our work at MASS MoCA."
Our entire campus is a creative workshop, providing artists with a collegial working environment and strong production resources, including housing, equipment, generous spaces, and extended time, as well as talented fabrication, installation, and production support staff.
Contributions like yours allow us to continue to do what we do best: bring stimulating and vibrant new art to you. Make your donation and help us reach our goal - the time is now. Thank you!
